Connect GA into GTM
In order to send the event from GTM to GA. We have to set up the GA configuration in GTM first.
Click Admin / Data Streams / Your Streams Resource
You will see the MEASUREMENT ID shown on the screen. And copy this measurement id.
Go to the GTMand click the Tags menu on the left side.
Click New Button to create a new tag
Click the Tag Configuration block to create a new tag configuration
Click the Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration item
Paste your measurement id from GA to the below Measurement ID field
Naming your GTM tag name as GA Config - G-XXXXXXXX
Click the Triggering block to create a new trigger for this tag configuration
Click the All Pages item
Click the Save Button to create GA configuration GTM tag
You can see there is a new GTM tag for GA configuration is created successfully
Then we can use this GA configuration to tell GTM to send the events to this GA later
