Compare user metrics

A. Total User

  • No limit
  • All User

B. Active user

  • View the website for more than 1 second
  • Open in the new tab but not focusing on the page will not be counted
  • Based on user_engagement event

C. New User

  • Visit your websites the first time
  • Based on the existing cookie and client ID, if not exist then will be the new user
  • Clear all cookies or use different devices will treat as new users.

D. Returning user

  • Visit your websites before
  • Based on the existing cookie and client ID, if exist then will be the returning user
